I was explaining to my daughter why there is a need for laws in a country.

“… Unfortunately, it does not stop some people from committing crimes.
But, we hope they would think twice before they do anything bad.”

After thinking for a few moments, she said, “I understand now. So those
people in jail have already thought at least TWO TIMES!!”
