We were teaching the kids about Fire Safety and one of the quiz questions was “Who should you ask when you need help to light a candle?”
Our answer was “An adult”.
Brandon came up to answer and he said “Need Parental Guidance.”

As the SA2 exams were around the corner, intensive revision was being conducted in class. I told the class, “If you don’t know how to do a question and don’t even try it, you will get a big fat egg (meaning a zero mark)” My student delightfully replied, “Ok, get me a chicken Egg.” Speaking of literal translation…

A student in my P2 English class was very fascinated about scientific facts. A topic which he liked to discuss was about ladies being pregnant and how the babies were doing in their tummies.

One day I asked him, “Darren, why do only ladies give birth and not men?”. He gave me a profound reply, “Because that is the law of mother nature.”

But he did not stop there…… he continued “But if there was Father Nature, then men also can give birth!!”

Olive class was having their storytelling session with Mrs Leong, the volunteer storyteller. The topic for the session was about the moon.
Mrs Leong did an introduction on the moon, the recent eclipse and about the first men who had walked on the moon.
Mrs Leong: Class do you know that many years ago, some men walked on the moon. They were Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and….”
Bai Hong: I know, I Know, It was Michael Jackson too….
Class: What!! (and laughter)
(I guess he was referring to the famous moonwalk dance of Michael Jackson.)
